We were truly wondering if it was going to happen.
The weekend stayed around 80. It was wonderfully relaxing!
Friday night Scott and Leanne arrived around 7:00. It was raining so we
couldnt go to dinner on the boat. Scott and Leanne had not been to Murray's
yet so we went there. Great dinner, great service, great visit.
Saturday I met new customers at a house I had never shown before.
They liked it so much that we wrote up an offer. That's my favorite way to
spend a Saturday morning. Before the end of the day. It was settled and they
will be in a new home by July 3.
Saturday afternoon we went for a short boat ride (too windy). Came home and spent the afternoon on Scott and Leanne's deck. Scott fired up his new charcoal grill, bought at a garage sale for $5 (typical Scott) and had hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixin's.
Sunday morning we were off to church. Bill works the sound board once
a month and this was his Sunday. It was Graduation Sunday, so all the
seniors were recognized. I had these kids in Kids of the Kingdom and now
they are graduating, many of them with honor. After church we went
to Wakarusa for Bill's nephew Robby's open house. Lots of fun.
They had a keg of rootbeer and a soft ice cream machine. I had tw0
rootbeer floats. It was the first time Carol had ever had one. She ate
all the ice cream out of it and gave Daddy the rest.
