We affectionately called this Camp Morris. After lunch Bill, Carol & I would pack up the beach stuff, load the coolers and head down. The building on the left is ours. If you look behind the palm tree and go up three floors, that is our condo. As you can tell, by the crowded beach, no one is here this time of year. The weather has been a little cooler than last year and the boogie board waves have been none existent, much to Carol's dismay. But we are not deterred. The sun has been out and we go down and camp on the beach for the afternoon and sit in the sun. I knit and read, Carol seeks shells or wants to play Velcro ball, Bill does whatever Bill does (you never know from one minute to another, he's a man of mystery). We decided that we can tolerate the Becovitz family on vacation with us and will try another one with them. I have missed the remainder of my family this week. Bill came home from a trip to the grocery store, with a present for Audrey. He was so proud of himself. He found something just perfect. Audrey is the hardest being to buy for. We love her so much and want her to know that we think of her always, when we buy for her we have to think about her overall obsessive tendencies. These past months it's been hard smooth objects of natural colors. Grandpa hit it right on the head. I hope she likes it! As for Isabel, I've been on the hunt for a mermaid stuffed with beans. I think I have been to every store in upper Myrtle Beach. I have one more store (Ripley's Believe It Or Not Aquarium) to visit today. It that proofs unsuccessful I will have to get her a stupid T-shirt that says-My Grandma and Grandpa went to Myrtle Beach and all I got was this stupid T-shirt :o)

It sounds like you are having fun! Sometimes just the time away from a hectic schedule is what it takes to make it great.
I love that you are letting us know what you're up to on vacation...it's almost like we're there with you...except for the fact it's like 40 degrees here :)
I can't wait for you to see the girls...Audrey actually (sometimes) plays with Isabel, and Isabel has skipped right over saying "mama" in favor of acknowledging the cat by saying "ka"...nice.
Hi and thank you for leaving me such a kind note! I am very excited to meet new friends online. Especially ones that are a little further on the journey then I. I have so much to learn! Thanks again! Rose
I'm anxious to know...did you find the mermaid for Isabel? (Now I'll have to remember to ask you at work...that's a problem!)
