Pier Pressure

After all these years, Scott finally succumbed to pier pressure.

Shortly after they arrived for Memorial Weekend, he went to town to get parts for the new pier Jared had been working on for him. When he returned, Jared was not there. He jumped onto the pier. What he did not know is that the board that he jumped on was not attached to the pier. When he jumped on the edge of the board, it flipped up and hit him in the head. To add insult to injury he then went into the lake and cut his leg. We iced it down but couldnt get it to stop bleeding, so Scott spent the next hour plus in the emergency room. Six stitches in his leg later he was back home. Leanne nicknamed him Frank and Bill and I brought back the phrase from the "Elephant Man"....."I am not an animal, I am a human being". He took it somewhat well ( not really) and the weekend continued.
