Audrey and I at Grandparents Day
This is really last Friday 5/19 but I messed up!
This is really last Friday 5/19 but I messed up!
Unlike most of you, this is not the end of my work week. Although I like to pretend that it is. Tomorrow I am showing 4 houses to a nice couple moving here from Illinois. I should be done by noon, but you never know when the phone will ring.
We were looking forward to the weekend with Scott and Leanne. They were making their first visit to the lake house for the season. Unfortunately, their plans have changed and we will have to wait till next weekend. Stuart, Doris and Josie will be here, too. It will be so much fun. I have missed all my girls! OK and my brother's too.
Today I get to celebrate Grandparents Day with Audrey at her school. It's always fun to see her progress in a classroom setting. She was recently tested and scored high in math. We were not terribly surprised by this, as children with autism are very pattern oriented.
Carol is excited. She is having a neighbor girl, Anna, for a sleepover tonight. We like Anna. When she's around, we dont even know they are here.
It's suppose to be in the 60's this weekend. I need some boatin' and knittin' and I will be a happy girl!
